April Fool’s

Last year in obligation of April Fool’s, I created an elaborate wedding invitation for my own wedding, which wasn’t happening, and mailed it to my mom so it would arrive on April 1. It arrived a few days earlier or later, and I wasn’t around for her reaction. 2011 April Fool’s fail.

Not this year. I created this poster and put four of them around my condo complex, and I also created the fake email address in hopes that someone would respond in anger, humour, or God knows what.

April Fool’s prank 2012

At first I was upset by the small number of replies, considering how many units are in my building, but after mulling it over, I think I did quite well:

“What kind of moron keeps a rattlesnake in a CARDBOARD BOX in a public condo where there might be children.”

“What the f*** are we supposed to think about this you stupid f****** c***? Not cool”

“You think you are funny? You have no idea of what phobias people in this building may have. Don’t quit your day job, LOSER.”

“LOL! The snake in the picture is dead.”

“It is against condo bylaws to keep a pet of this nature. Please contact <removed> as we have to discuss whether this is a hoax or not, and what steps will need to be taken to find this snake should the situation be real.”

“F*** YOU!!!”

“snake charmer? If I see your snake my husband will kill it, get a real job”
